Terrestrial LiDAR scanner on a tripod inside an industrial facility

3D Mapping & LiDAR Scanning

Most facilities are running on drawings that stopped being accurate years ago. Lines were rerouted, equipment was replaced, a mezzanine went in, and none of it made it back to the print. LiDAR scanning replaces the guesswork with measured reality: a dimensionally accurate point cloud of the space as it exists today.

What it is used for.

As-built documentation where drawings are missing, outdated or wrong

Pre-installation fit checks and clash detection before equipment is ordered

Retrofit, expansion and relocation planning

Volume and stockpile measurement

Structural and dimensional baselines for future comparison.

Deliverables.

Registered point clouds in standard formats, orthographic plan and elevation views, and measured extractions of the features you care about. Outputs are produced to work inside the CAD and asset systems you already run, rather than locking data into a proprietary viewer.

Why it complements what you already have.

Your SCADA, CMMS or EAM system knows what an asset is and what it has done. It usually does not know where the asset physically sits, what clearance surrounds it, or what changed last year. Spatial documentation fills that gap.
